The FraudFighter Chrome Extension allows you to quickly send remote ID verification invites, view recent scan results, and submit support tickets—all without opening up the portal. Follow the steps below to get started.
Installing the Extension
Open the Google Chrome Web Store
In the search bar, type FraudFighter and press Enter.
Select FraudFighter Web Extension and click Add to Chrome.
When prompted, click Add Extension to confirm permissions.
Once installed, click the puzzle piece icon at the top-right corner of your browser.
Find the FraudFighter Extension in the list and click the pin icon to keep it visible on your toolbar.
Logging In
Click the FraudFighter shield icon in your browser toolbar.
Log in using the same credentials or login method you use for the FraudFighter Portal.
Extension Overview
The extension has three main tabs: ID, Reports, and Support.
ID Tab
Send pre-purchased remote ID authentication requests directly from your browser.
Enter your client’s information, select the desired verification flow, and click Send.
Results Tab
View your 25 most recent scans, including both in-person and remote.
Select In-Person to see scans completed on your desktop system.
Select Remote to view scans completed remotely.
Greyed-out results indicate a pending scan that your client has not yet finished.
Click any scan for details. From there, you can:
Print a transaction report, or
Open the full scan details in the FraudFighter Portal by selecting Open Portal.
Support Tab
Submit a support ticket directly from the extension.
Provide a detailed description of your issue and click Send to contact our support team.
